Dubai expected to construct ten hotels by 2020 around Dubai World Central

According to Helal Saeed Al Merri, director-general of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), by 2020, At least ten new hotels are likely to be built around Dubai World Central (DWC).

At the end of 2013, the number of hotel rooms was 84,534. Approximately 25,000 more rooms will open, with a large portion of the supply in the three- and four-star segment by early 2017.
