CHINESE NEW YEAR 2015 - an unforgettable concert of Chinese music

To celebrate the Spring Festival, the Sydney Contemporary Orchestra brings you an unforgettable concert of famous and familiar Chinese music, performed by one of the finest symphony orchestra in Sydney along with noted Chinese instruments masters.

The Program includes traditional pieces such as the Spring Festival Overture by Li Huanzhi and the New Year Eve by Liu Tianhua. The ancient Chinese folk tunes Jasmine Flowers and Clouds Chasing the Moon are newly arranged by Dr Brian Chatpo Koo, Conductor and Artistic Director, in modern musical languages with or without a solo Chinese instrument.

HOW TO GET TO THIS EVENT: The Concourse is located in the heart of Chatswood on Sydney’s North Shore. It can be reached in 10 minutes from the Sydney CBD and 30 minutes from the airport by car.

The Concourse is equipped with an onsite car parking facility located on the basement level of the venue adding to the existing 15,000 car spaces in Chatswood. Click here for further parking information.

The Concourse is a two-minute walk from the Chatswood Interchange, which incorporates both train and bus terminals. From the Chatswood Interchange, walk down Chatswood Mall and onto Victoria Avenue, east of the station.
