The Colonial Tramcar Restaurant is a small fleet of extensively refurbished W-class trams, which give diners a historic sense of ambiance and comfort while they meander through the streets of Melbourne.

Dishing up a seasonal menu of Victorian produce complemented with a selection of Australian wines, The Colonial Tramcar Restaurant is continuously exceeding people's expectations.

The restaurant experience offers guests the choice of a Four Course Luncheon, Three Course Early Dinner, or a Five Course Late Dinner.

Each course on the menu offers two choices, which include starters such as Hummus dip and smooth blend of chickpea and tahini with a hint of mint, served and crisp lavosh followed by entrées including a Tender confit duck terrine wrapped in prosciutto, accompanied by a wild berry relish and cornichons or Smoked Tasmanian salmon and avocado mousse, dressed with baby capers, red onion and tomato salsa.

For main course guests can choose from a Victorian Farmed Eye Fillet of Beef paired with a rosemary and thyme scallop potato, fresh seasonal vegetables, onion marmalade and red wine jus or Grilled Chicken Breast marinated in herbs on a bed of sautéed spinach served with seasonal vegetables and a rich reduction.

Sparkling, red and white wines are available on board the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant and included in the price. Beers and various spirits and liqueurs are also available on board, also included in the price.
