Mt Buller snow update: 2cm of fresh snow with more on the way!

Mt Buller
As the snow continues to fall here at Mt Buller, snow-lovers are revelling in the low temperatures and fresh snowy conditions. Mt Buller received a 12cm top up of snow overnight and another 5cm is in the forecast for today. The latest cold snap has certainly delivered, with more than 50cm of fresh snow falling since last Friday evening.

Temperatures are hovering around -4 degrees allowing for extensive snowmaking, which combined with fresh snow has boosted the resorts overall coverage on the slopes.

With 17 lifts turning today, skiers and boarders will find very good conditions around the resort on a layer of fresh snow with a firm packed base.

The Bureau is forecasting a high chance of snow falling daily right through until Thursday when the forecast eases back to ‘snow showers.’ There are also low temperatures forecast which is great news for retaining the snow and adding to the cover with additional snowmaking.
