The expo is the result of a joint venture between the Italian Exhibition Group and Vision Fair China, an expo organizer in Chengdu.
It is in partnership with the China Tourism Academy, a national institute for tourism research and promotion under the China National Tourism Administration.
The expo will serve trade members and travel suppliers; 600 exhibitors and more than 1,000 buyers are expected to participate.
Chengdu is evolving into one of China’s leading cities, becoming not only a regional economic hub, but also a center for science and technology, cultural creativity, foreign contact and all modes of transportation in western China.
