Enshi Grand Canyon Opens World’s Longest Sightseeing Escalator
Speaking of superlatives, tourists can ride the world’s longest escalator at Enshi Grand Canyon in Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Hubei Province.
The 7,400-foot escalator whisks visitors up to the mountain at the Qixingzhai scenic spot. The recently opened escalator can transport about 7,000 people per hour and is anticipated to carry about 600,000 people per year.
