Staging Connections delivers ultimate Asian Paints Privilege Club celebration

Staging Connections designed a series of colourful events celebrating Asian Paints staff, their families and Privilege Club members with Welcome Functions for groups of 350 on the Gold Coast and Sydney, and Gala Dinners for groups of 350 in Sydney in May 2017.

The Welcome Functions, theme dinners and Gala Dinners took place in: The Dome, Sydney Showground; MV Epicure; The Star; McLaren’s Landing, Gold Coast; Movie World; and InterContinental Sanctuary Cove. The outdoor island conditions at McLaren’s Landing provided particular challenges that required Staging Connections’ high level of operational organisation and tech problem-solving skills to overcome.

This event marked the second incentive event Staging Connections have provided AV and theming solutions for Encompass Events. Siddarth Ganta, Account Director, Encompass Events, commented on the team’s ability to deliver large-scale events across a range of venues.

“The Staging Connections team successfully coordinated over 12 events across Australia, in different geographies and venues, and ensured adequate resourcing to deliver an atmosphere of celebration from start to finish. They really are a world-class team, always client focused. The production strength of Staging Connections helped us to create one of the most innovative events we have done for any of our clients,” said Mr Ganta.

Staging Connections supplied all AV, props and set builds, and used their impeccable knowledge of Watchout systems, to deliver an outstanding motion sensing technology experience.

Daniel Quinn, Sydney Production Manager, Staging Connections, commented on the execution of stage sets, lighting and motion sensing technology to create a unique celebratory atmosphere.

“Amazing stages, hosted lively entertainment and the President’s speech, and were brought to life via motion sensing technology. Staging Connections delivered spectacular content using the Watchout system to its full potential.

“Superior sound systems and dramatic lighting ensured a vibrant atmosphere in all venues and a rich cultural experience was enjoyed by all guests.

“The team coordinated significant resources to deliver a seamless series of events across the different venues and States. Asian Paints Privilege Club members expressed great pleasure about the highly-spirited atmosphere created and invited the team onto the stage to dance at the final event and celebrate the amazing production,” said Mr Quinn.

The success of the NSW and QLD events relied on a deep understanding of the delivery of large incentive events designed to surprise and delight guests, including the supply and coordination of a large amount of resources; both requirements were satisfied by Staging Connections, experienced in delivering complex large-scale events.
