Korankei is the top spot for autumn foliage in the Chubu Region of Japan

Autumn reaches its peak in Korankei about mid to late November every year. The Korankei is located in Asuke City of Aichi Prefecture, and it is well-known to be one of the top spots for autumn foliage in the Chubu Region. There are many spots around the Korankei for one to feast their eyes on these crimson leaves, but the vermilion Taigetsukyo Bridge is definitely one you should not miss.

There are multiple ways to get to Korankei from Nagoya Station, most of which require a few transfers. One of them includes taking the Meitetsu Nagoya Line from Nagoya Station to Higashi-Okazaki Station (30 Minutes), then transfer to a 70-minute Meitetsu Bus ride to Korankei.

If you are intending to fly to Nagoya this autumn, do try to make a day trip to Korankei! Also, vote for the photograph that interests you the most at our Photo Voting booth at the Japan Pavilion! Come visit us at the Japan Pavilion this NATAS Holidays 2017 fair, which takes place from 11 to 13 August 2017 at the Suntec City Convention and Exhibition Centre, 1000hr to 2130hr.
